This book takes future technology a bit too far and ruins any plot by making the technology a bit too advanced. It is inferior in every respect to Tom Clancy's book.

Michael DiMercurio has done it again. I've found no other author who can depict nuclear submarine warfare as well or realistically. From start to finish I was kept on the edge of my seat. The characters are solid. The storyline is believable for the not-too-distant future. DiMercurio continues to update the submarine fleet as well as the weapons. This is one of those books that you hate to put down or finish. It leaves you wishing the story was longer. If you're a submarine warfare reader this is a must read. I enjoyed it and you will too. Michael, hurry with your next book!

Once again Dimercurio brings action & suspense to life. I read about 70 pages the first night, then just could not put it down the next night. Dimercurio has generated characters we feel we know, like friends or neighbors. DiMercurio takes us into the near future once again, with a plot which could easily occur considering the political events in Asia. He had captured the flavour of technology that is real, and not too far fetched. (Like old Tom Clancy has become of late). If you enjoy Dale Brown or C.A. Mobley, you'll enjoy Michael DiMercurios latest thriller featuring Admiral Pacino. I can't wait to read his next book.
