Product Description

After the terror unleashed on Lake Victoria in Piranha 3D, the pre-historic school of blood thirsty piranhas are back. This time, no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of summer's best attraction, The Big Wet Water Park.

Christoper Lloyd (Back to the Future) reprises his role as the eccentric piranha expert with survivor Paul Scheer (The League) and a partially devoured Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction) back for more fish frenzy. The world's most famous lifeguard David Hasselhoff aka ‘The Hoff', trades in the sandy beaches of Baywatch to be a celebrity lifeguard at the racy water park.

Prepare for double the terror, double the action and double the Ds in this sequel also starring Gary Busey (Lethal Weapon), Katrina Bowden (30 Rock), Danielle Panabaker (The Crazies), Matt Bush (Adventureland), Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man) and David Koechner (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy).

3.0 out of 5 stars Complete Unashamed cheesy fun. 6 Sep 2012
By D. Newstead VINE™ VOICE
Format:Blu-ray|Amazon Verified Purchase
Well ok not a patch on the 1st one and lets hope they dont make a 3rd, this still has so much cheese to it it is fun. From the Hoffman doing his not so Baywatch thing to returning heroes with special leg attachments and a 2 minute Gary Busey special this is great. With a silly side line that no-one really cares about in pumping water from an underground lake to save the water world money, a really tacky awful policeman who you just know is going to come off bad to kinky couples in vans and irritating no it all kids not to mention the dd this is just wonderful fun.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheesy B-MOVIE guilty pleasure 5 Oct 2012
Format:DVD
I agree, the first piranha remake was BAD. This sequel is not. It's cheesy and fun and has it's moments. Don't listen to negative reviews. If u like b-horror creature movies then get this dvd but don't take the movie seriously...

5.0 out of 5 stars Plot lacking but made up for with female flesh 4 Mar 2013
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
There's no way you could describe this as high art.
But then for a movie called 'Piranha DD', you wouldn't expect it to be.
It's gorno comedy and has Hasselhoff in it.
What's more all the irritating characters get eaten brutally and bloodily by mutant piranha from the Earths core, or something - if only real life was like that!
Oh, and ***SPOILER ALERT*** the piranha learn to walk at the end.

Absolutely awfull not even good as a b movie. I enjoyed the first one to a point but this one was just a cheap rip off with its crude one liners and awfull effects.

2.0 out of 5 stars OH DEAR! 1 July 2012
By BAZ316
Format:Blu-ray
I loved the first one,in all it's silliness and gore, but this, though i tried to enjoy it just disappointed. I do get that it was once again meant to be completely stupid and just taken as a bit of fun,but it just doesn't deliver like the first. There are moments that made me laugh and the nudity was there to please the blokes but laughs were just too few or not the kind of humour i found the first to be. I found a lot of this to be desperate, maybe i should give it another go one day,but i doubt i will.
Seriously,i thought i'd enjoy this what with being a fan of the first, but somehow this was just mostly dumb and not anywhere near the great climax of the last, fun in places but not one i could recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Depressing 30 Jun 2012
By Me
Format:Blu-ray
I love monster movies, I love bad monster movies, I love horrendous monster movies crammed with clichés and poor acting. I have sat through herds of killer bunnies, belligerent bees and Japanese guys dressed in monster suits trashing cardboard models of Tokyo. I had enjoyed heck I really liked the last Piranha film so I was looking forward to this. Sadly it fell flat. It's a film in which no one seems to care. The special effects are dreary and the actors seem to be sleep walking through it and most are embarrassed to be there. It couldn't even bother to be so bad it's funny. Ed Wood would have refused to be involved with it. It's a lifeless, cynical soul destroying film that doesn't give a dam about it's poor audience. I can see it being cobbled together by a group of accountants with the soul aim of screwing money from the target audience of gullible teenage boys. That this got a cinema release is the biggest sin against cinema when so many better horrors are denied it. If you have to see it get a pirate copy or download for free. Paying good money would only encourage these morons to make another.

3.0 out of 5 stars Double Disappointment! 12 May 2012
Format:DVD
I really enjoyed Piranha 3D which has become a firm favourite of mine. It was a well balanced creature feature, with the right amount of blood & gore (lots!!!), humour and nudity. Since it was announced that a sequel was on its way I had followed the progress of Piranha 3DD for the best part of a year and a half. I was there when it was announced that it was going straight to DVD and was going to be a 15 certificate to it being announced that it was in fact going to get a cinema release after all and have an 18 certificate.

I had high hopes for this movie but was ultimately disappointed. The acting is mediocre, characters were unrelatable and the editing too choppy. The water park set was far too small and there weren't enough extras for the Piranha to munch on. Even the soundtrack had me disappointed as it was predominantly classic B-movie keyboard dribble. Piranha 3D relied heavily on RnB, dance and hip hop, all of which I cannot stand usually but surprisingly enjoyed as it kept with the general tone of the movie. The whole joke about David Hassellhoff being in Piranha 3DD wears thin very very quickly and the film becomes an almost slap dash homage to his career as an 'actor'. One or two moments did however make me laugh but not as much as Piranha 3D. Quite clearly the best part of the film's budget went towards getting the Hoff who frankly did not need to be in it. Even the end credits were drawn out to an almost mind numbing 10 minutes to reach the standard running time for all cinematic releases.

Piranha 3DD could have been far better than it was. If the money had been spent more properly then there would/should have been far more Piranha feeding frenzy action and not the odd one or two clumsy scenes thrown in.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit gimmicky film
I chose this film as I though it would have some good 3D effects in it. I was disappointed as all I saw was fish heads heading out of the screen at me!
