4.0 out of 5 stars A fun little book that will drive you potty, 9 April 2001
By A Customer
Keith has produced an excellent little guide to vegetable experimentation. No sooner had I started this book than little pots appeared around the house hopefully sprouting everything from the mundane to the truly exotic. The only thing that prevents Keith from getting five stars is the lack of information on vegetables - it looks like I'll be out on a limb with those. All in all a fun little book, well worth a flutter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 28 April 2008
By Dr. G. Salmon "Seed buster" (Spain) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I've been desperate for ideas on growing stuff on the Costa Blanca from the wild proliferation of seeds, nuts and fruit around here. Mr Mossman's book is about growing stuff for houseplants in the quite different climate of the UK. But I've followed and/or adapted his advice and I've got loads of stuff growing- cherries, advocado - unfortunately the book I've got had 3 pages missing just when I needed them- about loquats. curses! I've just ordered another one in the hope it has pages 99-102. Brilliant for today's lifestyle this. Is Mr Mossman still around, anyone know?

5.0 out of 5 stars A great little book....., 26 Aug 2009
By KRWS (Johannesburg, South Africa) - See all my reviews
This a great little book for gardeners and amateurs alike - especially the latter (like me)!

I bought this second hand and it has been worth every penny. Easy to read and concise, I have followed instructions, and guess what? Actually have succeded in growing stuff!

It deserves to be reprinted, but second hand copies apear to be easily available at resonable prices.

Recommended!
