Bought for my public house, this is played 12 hours a day with a 6 CD changer. Have had no problems. Found putting the discs in upside down odd at first, but soon got used to it. Easy to use and set up, even I can do it and solved my immediate needs at the pub for a very reasonable price.

This was the first Pioneer item I have ever owned, and it will be the last. My understanding was that their products were good, but this lasted just a teeny bit over twelve months, being used in a domestic setting - then went wrong. Fortunately I had insured it. The repairers had it for months before it was written off because the spares required were no longer available. Apparently what happened to mine is a common fault (and spares cannot be obtained)? So, for me, Pioneer is NOT a make I will ever buy again.
I am now playing a Teac DVD player, which plays five not six discs, but which has a much simpler mechanism which is less likely to go wrong.

i have one of these i bought SECOND HAND 17 yrs ago and it still goes strong. superb player from times when they were made to last.
