Great but cheap remote control,

The DVD player is very easy to setup, thats the first thing i noticed.The fact that it is ultra slim means that there is now enough space to put my ps2, making it all look nice and tidy. It plays just about everything i know, it plays vcd that you made on your computer with any hassle at all, including pictures, although i still have to try out that feature. The remote is something that i really dislike. I have hugh remotes for all my other electronics (tv,vcr,speakers etc) but this is the only remote that doesn't look or feel great. I can't seem to 'stop' a playing dvd, must check the manual, most probably im doing something wrong. Overall its great value for money, it does everything a £400 dvd does for a fraction of the cost.

I originally bought a Pioneer 350K from Amazon. It packed up after a month. This is the second Pioneer from Amazon. One step up. It's still going after about a year but has a fault. Sometimes when you load a DVD there is a shrieking or vibrating noise. Sometimes the problem resolves itself if you reload the DVD. Sometimes it doesn't. So overall, I have had mixed success with the Pioneers. There is no guarantee that another make will be more reliable. They're all cheap goods made in China.

It's RGB output produces lovely clear pictures.I have it connected up to a surround system via it's coaxial digital output and it certainly whacks out some serious sounds. And it looks good too!
