I bought this stereo 2 weeks ago and I love it! I had it fitted by a friend and it was pretty straight forward to fit. The sound out it is amazing, I don't have big speaker in my car (just the bog standard ones it came with!) and I was astonished at the quality they produced when plugged into this unit! I used to have a Sony Xplod and the Pioneer surpasses it in every way. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality reasonably priced stereo.

My mate has the black DEH-4700MP, so I knew I was going to get a good unit for an amazing price.(he sent me the amazon link, I thought they just did books).
It was easy to fit and once I got the settings to how I liked them, sounds perfect.
My old head unit was a Sony, and there are some things I will miss on the pioneer, mainly a small alarm sound if you forget to de-mount the front and the 'easy to find' OFF button and I find the text hard to read in sunlight, you have to be face on to read it
But I will get use to it, would recomend to others

Got this to replace my old Pioneer CD player and it installed in a flash - just swopped over the leads and away it went. The sound is gr8 once it's setup properly - if u notice some of the other brands actually have less frequency response than this very nice unit. Just a couple of little niggles (not enough to have put me off buying it) - things like the fact it doesn't beep (as my other pioneer did) when u leave the face unit attached after switching off the ignition. Also the ID3 tag info should scroll by default but it doesn't - the DISPLAY button has to be pressed and held which is tricky whilst driving. Also ignore the 'cellular phone mute' feature as this only works if you have a phone connected to the pioneer unit :s erm...yeh lol useful.
One other niggle is the plastic used on the vol control knob - it's very soft and tbh I'd dropped it within minutes (dopey me i know but it's bound to happen with an item like this) and it now has a chunk missing from the control :(
All in all buy this unit if u want a sub £100 mp3 player.
