The Pioneer is a very discrete little home cinema system. You don't get a massive looking amp with buttons all over the place and a remote that leaves you searching for a dictionary. What you do get is a very capable DVD BD player incorporating a FM tuner and 100 watt amp. Play a Blue ray disc and there is no difference than being at the cinema. For Tv viewing use Dolby pro logic 2 and all your favourites will be in glorious surround sound. The Pioneer is simple to set up and easy to use. With 2 HDMI outputs you can connect your Freeview/Freesat/Sky box as well as a PS3/Xbox.Once positioned and set up it does not look like you are trying to turn your front room into your local Odeon, but fire it up and it sounds like it. The speakers are so small and discrete, but are more than powerful enough to handle action movies along with the impression sub woofer. It will also play all your Cd's too and even has a pro logic mode for music, which sounds absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a system which looks good in your living room without overtaking it.Provides 5.1 sound when you need it, has a built in radio and cd/dvd player, then you cant get any better than this system for the money. It will even connect to your network connection to allow you to play cd's or films from your computer. For a discrete all in one solution i would highly recommend it.
