Although I did not buy this product from Amazon, I did read the reviews here before making my choice and buying locally.
I'm on my third in-car DVD unit, so I know a thing or two about these, and I must say, the 3300 is by far the best piece of kit I've ever had in my car.
Installation was a doddle. The player came with a very high quality wiring harness and there's plenty of room left behind the unit, unlike my previous JVC AVX-810 which crushed all the wires behind it because of its huge length. Perfect fit in my 2006 Ibiza.
The screen has excellent viewing angles and is one of the best resistive touchscreens I've ever used. It's not as "easy" as a capacitive screen, but it's much more accurate. The user interface looks nice and is easy to use, although setting the radio presets is a stupid process. Took me a good 10 minutes to figure it out, despite being a total gadget freak.
Audio quality is superb, light-years ahead of my previous unit, and it really does make stock speakers sound much better. Plenty of EQ, loudness and filters to play with to make it sound to your liking, and the 4V outputs give my subwoofer a lot more punch than I used to get with my JVC. Funnily enough, the JVC had 5V outputs (higher voltage than the Pioneer) but sounded much less powerful and clear.
The integrated bluetooth is a very nice feature. The unit paired very quickly with my Blackberry 8900, and my contacts list was downloaded almost instantly. Call quality is very good, both incoming and outgoing.
I'm not too fond of the USB input on the front, I would have preferred the slot to be hidden in the glove-box, but I can live with that.
Right now I'm delighted with this product. If that should change over time, I'll edit this review.
