Excellent product 22 Jun 2011
Although I did not buy this product from Amazon, I did read the reviews here before making my choice and buying locally.

I'm on my third in-car DVD unit, so I know a thing or two about these, and I must say, the 3300 is by far the best piece of kit I've ever had in my car.

Installation was a doddle. The player came with a very high quality wiring harness and there's plenty of room left behind the unit, unlike my previous JVC AVX-810 which crushed all the wires behind it because of its huge length. Perfect fit in my 2006 Ibiza.

The screen has excellent viewing angles and is one of the best resistive touchscreens I've ever used. It's not as "easy" as a capacitive screen, but it's much more accurate. The user interface looks nice and is easy to use, although setting the radio presets is a stupid process. Took me a good 10 minutes to figure it out, despite being a total gadget freak.

Audio quality is superb, light-years ahead of my previous unit, and it really does make stock speakers sound much better. Plenty of EQ, loudness and filters to play with to make it sound to your liking, and the 4V outputs give my subwoofer a lot more punch than I used to get with my JVC. Funnily enough, the JVC had 5V outputs (higher voltage than the Pioneer) but sounded much less powerful and clear.

The integrated bluetooth is a very nice feature. The unit paired very quickly with my Blackberry 8900, and my contacts list was downloaded almost instantly. Call quality is very good, both incoming and outgoing.

I'm not too fond of the USB input on the front, I would have preferred the slot to be hidden in the glove-box, but I can live with that.

Right now I'm delighted with this product. If that should change over time, I'll edit this review.

I upgraded my Mercedes Command system with CD-Changer to this unit and I love it. Great quality. Loads of functions and choises for sources for music - USB, SD, DVD, MP3 and much more. To bad I dont have more £££ to upgrade it to SAT-NAV and rear screens. It really great unit for everything in your car. Highly recommended. But thing I noticed it programming function for radio stations but I think it might be just me. I will get this later. So far I have to go to make anther trip in my car to enjoy this sound and its quality.

Pioneer AVH 3300BT 1 Aug 2011
This car stereo/headunit is great...the touch screen makes the menus easy to use. Once set up with your phone on bluetooth it connects quite readily and has a good quality connection. SD slot allows you to easily run slide show of you own photos,USB allows for music from memory stick or plug in ipod etc and allows full control of ipod from the touchscreen, and if that wasn't enough there is a CD DVD player for the conventional way of playing discs. All in all a very good Head unit.
