The Wooden Pull Along Activity Train has something for every little infant. This activity train is two toys in one; children can drag it around the floor and 'choo choo' to their heart's desire, or they can play with some of the fun activities found on each carriage. The carriages can be taken apart to use as individual toys; the train features a front engine, a wagon with a mirror, and one with a bead frame. At 9 months my daughter wasn't really interested in this toy but at 16 months she loves it. She hasn't quite got the hang of pulling it around after her yet but she still sits and plays with it. The front carriage makes a noise if you press the chimney and on the middle carriage it has a velcro mirror that is quite hard to pull off and keeps my daughter busy for a while trying to get it off. A lovely wooden toy.

This is a beautifully made, solid, colourful train. It has one very simple activity on each carriage making it suitable for children as young as 9 months. The carriages also detach with a simple toggle, giving play variety. I bought this for a first Birthday present, but is the type of toy I would be delighted to receive for my own child as it looks as though it will stand the test of time. Simple, well thought out and with the child in mind.
