I have been with pinnacle quite some time now after using 8,9,10, 11, 12, and now 14. Studio 14 ultimate is by far and away the best yet with loads of professional stuff included. One section particularly 'Smart movie' is extremely good, you sit back and it does all the basic ground work for you, leaving you to set about "polishing up the film" I would recommend studio 14, but a word of advice, try and get the "ultimate" version if possible, the difference in content far outweighs the difference in price.

I've been a Studio user for a few years and always found it to do what it said on the tin. I've been a bit disappointed with this version, which has been bought for HD video editing on a Vista computer.
This product works fine in a non-domain environment. Put it on a Vista computer in a domain that uses "My Documents" redirection and it will not work. It will not write to network locations.
I have spent hours with Avid Support trying to iron out the issues. Most of the issues were related to the Importer module, whose default folders lie in the users' "My Documents" hierarchy. Avid issued a work around to reconfigure the default folder locations, but this requires an understanding of Vista folder structures.

this product has a few additions over previous versions,and is very stable,and I am happy with the product.not much else to say about this apart from the fact that it is simple to use once you get to know it
