I brought this product a year ago and I have been fully satisfied with it. Being in HM Forces I have made use of this USB PCTV in England, Germany, Cyprus and Afghanistan and it has never let me down. It works perfectly in hot, cold and dusty conditions. You can use it through Windows Media Player on Vista (which I recommend) or use the software that comes stored on the stick itself which is good and user friendly. The mini remote control is good but I would have preferred it to be credit card size and thin than the chunky look.
The antenna is magnetic and provides good reception, note I found the reception improved when attached to a metal object like a tent pole, generator or radiator. The memory is usefully for saving your different country TV channel lists which prevents you from scanning for channels each time you move between countries. The USB PCTV is durable and robust and has survived knocks and varying climates and conditions. I personally cannot fault this product it has served me well and is value for money considering it has lasted a year with frequent use without failure in conditions that it was probably not designed to be used in.

I held off buying one of these because I had read that software on similar items had slowed down people's systems. But with this one, the software lives on the Flash stick, which makes for a more flexible arrangement.

I bought this primarily so that we could have our own TV when on holiday with my in-laws in Italy, but I've used it here in the UK too. Set-up is very easy, the interface is quite intuitive and the picture quality not bad for stations where there is decent digital reception. The antenna bundled with the stick gives OK reception of the stronger channels, but for the UK I found that I needed a better aerial, and ended up forking out an extra £10 for one that incorporated a signal booster.

After plugging this into the flash stick, I discovered that the main problem that I'd had initially - very slow switching between channels - disappeared. Without the boosted signal, changing to a channel with a weak system essentially hung the software, and only by shutting it down in task manager could I regain control of the PC.

I've not tested the PVR function yet, but I am reasonably happy with the purchase.

The software is very buggy, and gets worse if you do not properly eject the stick. It is also very slow at times - a relatively powerful PC is needed too for watching and recording.
The supplied aerial is only good for places with very good reception; those that don't will have to get a separate one or a metal coat hanger.
When it works, it's fine - quality is good and the EPG is bearable. The extra '1Gb' (really about 700MB) is pretty worthless considering the fuss that's needed every time to eject it.
Not really worth £50. Disappointed.
