Product Description

Product Description

Dance has always been an important and vital component of Hip Hop culture, which grew from the clubs and the streets (thus the terminology ‘street’ dance) and eventually being widely popularized through MTV with artists such as Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Usher and most recently, Justin Timberlake. This DVD gives you the opportunity to learn three new and original combinations performed to hot original music whilst getting fit and having fun! Choreographer Kate Prince’s unique ‘nu skool’ is both innovative and fresh, fusing elements of Street, Funk, Latin, Jazz and African. Contains:

  • Full warm-up session
  • Routines broken down and taught by Kate Prince
  • Performance of all three routines

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic 26 Jan 2004
Absolutely fantastic choreographies and tips! The only downfall would be that they have not reversed the moves and therefore you are forever reversing them in order to get the moves correctly. Appart from that small downfall it is absolutely superbe and great advert for Pineapple Studios!

2.0 out of 5 stars TOO FAST 25 July 2005
You would have to be a professional dancer to master this class!!! The instructor goes from 1 move quickly to the other. It took me like 15 minutes just to master the the first 6 steps!! This meant i had to keep rewinding it back in order to actually get the step correct. Not one of my best buys as i found it way to difficult to master so gave up after an hour learning only 10 steps and never watching the video again!
