Soho: The Heart of London's sex industry. Stanley (Danny Dyer) rules this dark and sleazy world, employing hustler and pimp Woody (Robert Cavanah) as his right hand man. But Woody is having one of the worst weeks of his life, topped off when one of his girls (Barbara Nedeljakova) goes missing. Now, with a gangland turf war escalating, Woody finds himself on the run through the seedy Soho underworld and questioning his whole life - a life he now finds spiralling brutally out of control… Featuring an explosive cast (including Billy Boyd, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Martin Compston and Robert Fucilla), Pimp is a sexy, exciting and action-packed look at the darker side of London's glamorous and dangerous nightlife. Special features include: 'Making of' Documentary; Deleted Scenes and Stagger Rats Music Video.

this movie made something like 26 GBP on its opening weekend and now i know why, this movie is very poor and lacks any basic film making craft everything is wrong with it danny dire is so missed cast as the Don of soho its actually amazing to watch this car wreck,

i dont want to go on about this to much to be honest that wuld be giving the film makers to much of my time but if you really want to see one of the worst British films ever made give in recent years it a go

i will say this in its defense its not offensively bad to the point you feel dumber after watching it, its kind of fun bad in the same way plan 9 from outer space is also their is a rape scene involving Danny dire but hes not the one doing the rape its the most misconceived attempted at humor i have ever seen which makes it an ironic masterpiece

fans of the old and hard to find shot on video movie GBH staring Cliff Twemlow will like this as its just as ridiculous and if you found this movie funny but aint seen GBH look it

I am a major Danny Dyer fan. And I hate to admit it, but this film did not live up to my expectations at all.
It seems like Danny the Lad, is taking whatever work comes his way. A few of which have been...well, Poo!
I sure hope that his new films up for release make up for his poor choices of work in the recent past.
Sorry mate-but I've got to be honest.

Bought this because it is sold as a Danny Dyer movie. His name and photo feature much more prominently on the packaging etc. than anyone else in the cast.

Was disappointed to find that the talented Mr Dyer's plays a small role in the movie. The story focusses on other characters, leaving Danny to play a bit part. Of the few scenes featuring Danny he rarely seemed to intereact with other actors, indeed his first scene is a monologue which did not contribute to the storyline but felt slotted in for no good plot reason.

The movie itself tries too hard to shock the viewer. It has an unbelievable storyline which assumes the viewer is so thick they will believe that heavy duty gangsters will let an unknown, untrusted fly-on-the-wall documentary crew follow them around with cameras and microphones openly recording all sorts of crimes, such as torture and murder.

Danny Dyer plays his part with more style and finesse than the rest of the cast, as one might expect. To sideline him to a small propotion of scenes is a shameful waste of talent. This movie could have been so much more, but left me feeling like the victim of a bait-and-switch scam.

don't write many reviews but i felt compelled to warn lovers of film to avoid this.
i like to make my own mind up but in this case wish i hadn't.
i enjoyed danny dyer in 'the business' which was almost goodfellas compared to this waste of time.

I was expecting a bigger part than this for Danny, I'm Afraid I didn't go a bundle on this film, being a Danny Dyer fan though had to give it a go, disappointing really, Save your money.
