5.0 out of 5 stars Brierley's guides to the Camino 23 Mar 2014
By Tony Brebner - Published on Amazon.com

After spending a lot of time researching Maps, Wiki's, Camino sites, Posts and Blogs - I eventually just took the Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino de Santiago and walked the entire 800km's with the support of this great guide. I have bought the Camino Portugues and Camino Finisterre guides by John Brierley for my next trip. You dont need any more than the John Brierley's Guides to the Camino:)

5.0 out of 5 stars So helpful for planning your camino 23 Jun 2014
By Mr.Kendoll - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Very well laid out as a continuous path - just as El Camino. Although each step of the journey was a new and unexpected experience, this guide was indispensable in deciding on our next stopping point and saved us a lot of concern about the unknown! Each section is laid out as one day's journey, as with his larger volume on El Camino Frances, so the Camino has a predictable end point, however, the continuous map format makes it easy to vary your daily trek as you feel it (even though this part of the Camino is very short, it is not easy). Historical, geographical, and other references helped us to fill out our experience with side trips and extended stays. An incredible amount of information was very well organized and accessible, and John Brierley's personal expressions each day should be enjoyable whatever your view on life.
