Lynne Robinson is the founder of Body Control Pilates, which has become one of the world's most respected Pilates organisatons with close to 1,500 teachers in 40 countries. She has written several best-selling books, among them Pilates for Weight Loss and The Pilates Bible, and presented numerous DVDs. Her influence was recognised by The Times, who called her 'The Queen of Pilates' and by the London Evening Standard who listed her as one of 'London's 300 Most Influential People'. Lynne was a member of the Working Group that developed the content of the national standard for Pilates mat work in the UK.

Hi

Great book, very informative, explaining exactly what you need to do to carry out the exercises, has pictures to demonstrate what shape you should be aiming for and specific work outs for differing lengths of time!

As you would expect from Lynne Robinson, the details of the exercises are very good and the set-out of the book with photographs is good as well and has some good information on diet itself. What I particularly like is some of the combination of exercises that are shown and the fact that the work-outs themselves are split into 15 min / 30 min / 60 min which gives you great choice for time. You could put some together to make for a longer session.
