Being a Pilates fan I got excited about a DVD where you can pick and choose your workout from Standing Exercises, Abdominals, Upper and Lower body and Stretching exercises. I was very disappointed with the low budget way it was filmed. As for the on-screen "chemistry" between Pat Cash and Lynne Robinson awful, it seemed like they did not get on at all and as if they did not enjoy the filming of the video.
As for the content of the DVD, it has an easy to follow menu and has a good section for beginners on how to do Pilates correctly. For anyone who has done Pilates before, this is a very easy workout. There are very few strenuous exercises and one has to pause the DVD to do more repetitions to get a real workout. The movements were well explained but I did not feel that I got a good workout. Because the exercises are so easy I do not feel like doing it as there is no challenge. This DVD would be good for a complete beginner, but for someone who knows a little or has done a few classes, this one is too easy and a bit boring. So unfortunately I cannot recommend this one highly and felt it is a waste of money. Any beginners interested in buying my copy? Good luck
