Product Description

Product Description

The Pilates technique teaches you how to use your body correctly. This practical guide to Pilates presents a series of step-by-step exercise routines that are designed to ease aches, improve mobility, release tension, strengthen and tone your abdomen, lift your buttocks, and banish back ache. A warm-up routine is included to focus the mind and prepare the body. This is followed by three levels, each one working every part of your body. When you can perform each movement in a level comfortably, you move on to the next level. The book also provides a self assessment to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and to see how you improve as you work through the routines in the book.

As an aerobics instructor I have looked at many new forms of exercise to renew my interest in sculpting my body. Having read this book and taken the time to perfect the technique I can truely say that this publication will become your bible to transforming your body and your perception of your physicaly self.

Well written with excellent step by step pictures to ensure correct form for maximum effect. Can't say enough about this technique and the introduction this publication provides.

I found the book well written and easy to understand. The demonstrations remind you what you were learning in the class room and so the book is a great companion when doing your homework!
