I have several of Lynne Robinson's DVDs as she is a terrific instructor. A few of them are just too slow and easy for me and is better suited for elderly people or if recovering from injury etc. I often prefer the 10 Minutes Solution like this
10 Minute Solution - Pilates [DVD]for tougher, more efficient work outs, though they are not entirely what I consider true Pilates. But I always come back to Lynne for technique and precision.
Back to the subject: This DVD has a little more advanced approach than the other DVDs by Lynne that I have tried. The excercises are calm but challenging and I feel great afterwards. I have improved my balance and core stability after only a few weeks. In the end there is a short segment with even more challenging excercises that could have been longer.
I do this work out when I am tired and want to feel relaxed. I also bought the DVD for a good friend that just started to take Pilates classes.The thorough instruction segment in the beginning is the best I have encountered.
