If you're into intimistic and a bit minimalistic film scores you will not be disappointed. If you're also into Chris Whitley's desert like guitar sound and his singing you have enough reasons to buy this one. This cd is a perfect one to relax on. If you're a fan of what Chris and band did on Rocket House, you'll probably like the album. It mixes mostly the European minimalistic electronic sound scape Chris had a love for with the man's own southern roots and raw guitar accents. There are lovely moments on it like Crystaline and Breaking your fall. Some repeats but that's what good film scores are about imo. Very short but one of the finest is the Tijuana intermezzo. Enjoy!
