I read this book with my class as part of our class novel. My initial book reviews based on the blurb and the cover summounted to "boring." At the end of the story their opinions had changed somewhat. They loved it. Its an emotional story that brings in so much history and discussion (in the classroom that is) I have to admit, even I was suprised. They say never judge a book by its cover!!

I read this book a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't put it down! The plot is excellent, and if you like birds/ pigeon racing then this story will appeal to you. And even if you don't like that sort of thing, you'll enjoy the book anyway. It's one of those books which has a beautiful, perfect storyline, and you feel that if anything else was added it would ruin the book.
