This is in the form of a fold-out card containing 2 explanation pages and three further perforated cards that can be separated for ease of use. It will be most useful to people with no knowledge of French. The way it is written is aimed at people who want to be able to say basic phrases that actually sound right! The words are written phonetically, exactly as they should sound, and not written in French. For example, "sil vous plait" (please) is spelt "sil-voo-play" and "merci" (thank you) is spelt "mersee". Brilliant idea, and also no cheating and pointing at the word, beacause a French person may not understand it. The only downside, is that if you do have a smattering of French it can be very confusing not seeing the proper spellings, but a good mind-jogger even so. As long as you just want to say phrases and not write them it's great. Small, but perfectly formed.

I do not understand why these Pigeon cards which I discovered years ago, are not more popular? This is a really, really good idea. The card is excellent in all ways. It looks hardwearing and the phrases are great.
This seller delivered in good time. Well packaged. Dare I say, perfect.

Please, just take the time to sit with some French people and listen to how they speak. You will get nowhere with these lame cards.
