I have just bought this knife, and after reading the reviews i was a little worried. Inserting the blades was no where near as difficult as I thought it was going to be (you just need to make sure the blades are level with each other when inserting) and managed to do this on the second attempt. I tried two or three times after just to make sure I could do it after the initial success; and did so without any problems. This product is very easy to use if you have big hands, however should you have small hands I would not recomend it. I can see how the other people reviewing can see the product as cumbersome and difficult to use and can only assume that they all have small hands. The handle on the knife is wide and rounded making it difficult for small handed people to press the trigger. So this is great for those blessed with gigantic hands like myself and a definate no no for those with little digits.

The main problem with this electric carving knife is actually the way it has to be held whilst using. Perhaps it's because my old electric knife had a 'handle' on the top so it was pretty easy to manoevre. This is rather cumbersome and you have to hold the black body whilst holding down the switch underneath. I just about manage to do this but find it makes my hand ache - however, the air is blue if my husband has to use it. I think he would give it no stars at all!!!! Not for anyone with dexterity problems I would say.
