I bought this book together with Picture Framing a Complete Guide and they both complement one another. This is a simple book in many ways, but is very informative and useful: a good guide to making picture frames. On its own, it might appear too simplistic for anyone who has ambitions in framing professionally and the other book mentioned would be worth getting as well, but not instead of. I felt that this book is a good, practical guide to the subject at an affordable price and well worth buying on its own for anyone already good with tools and crafts. It has no ambition beyond demonstrating how to mount art works and make a frame that sets them off well.
