"'You can't paint faces from the front and the side at the same time' they said. 'No, no, no Picasso'. But Picasso said, 'Yes'..." Thoroughly enjoyable, educational without being worthy, this lovely book introduces Picasso and, more importantly, the idea of thinking for yourself. My kids love the 'No, no, no Picasso' chorus and the fact that there's a photo of the real Picasso in his stripy trousers at the back of the book (they are 4).
