This book is stuffed full of great photos and drawings. It's an account of Renzo Piano's career as an architect and of his buildings. I would have liked his drawings to be reproduced larger but this is a small criticism - I am enjoying the book very much. It's a small book taking full advantage of every scrap of space on every page. Hurray!

Such a shame that arguably one of his best creations, the Peek & Cloppenburg Department store in Kohn, has been omitted entirely. I was really looking forward to reading about that. I will have to look around for another book more suitable. If you aren't bothered by this, it features a lot of his other works and I'm still pleased to have it. Just cannot work out for the life of me how such a wonderful piece of architecture was deemed unfit for this book.
