The OTHER Schumann

I bought this because I wanted to hear something that Clara Schumann had written. I listened several times, and find these to be very enjoyable, and well constructed. Despite speculation, we will never know how well Clara Schumann might have been as a composer if she had existed in a different time, a different culture. At least we can listen to these and know that she was not just a good pianist, but an accomplished composer as well. Some will say these are not original, not profound, etc. I can only say that they are really fine music to enjoy, and I recommend this recording highly.
