The Serola Belt comes complete with directions of use on how to wear and position the belt. It is not intended as a cure, but as a day-long helping hand in a treatment programme for most types of back pain.
Designed as an effective and comfortable support for pre/post partum hypermobiltiy and symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) it is equally helpful for acquired hypermobility/instability whether occupational (e.g. dancers, gymnasts), post-traumatic, degenerative or compensatory.

I bought this after a physio recomended it, it is fantastic, my legs feel so free when I wear it. You arn't supposed to wear it all the time but if I know it is going to be a difficult day it provides great relief. It is annoying that you have to re-do it when you go to the toilet but not in comparison to the relief on my sacro illeac joint!!!

I suffered with SPD during pregnancy and bought this belt at the suggestion of a physio friend. It made all the difference. Without it I found my mobility very restricted due to pain and discomfort and moved like an 80 yr old incontinant women, with the belt on I was able to move freely and comfortably.
Yes, it does need to be taken off when going to the toilet (with a loud velcro ripping sound!) but this was not an issue as I probably wouldn't have been able to get to the toilet quickly enough if I wasn't wearing it towards the end of pregnancy.
Well worth the money and very minor drawback of needing to remove it for the bathroom. Would also say it's more comfortable when worn over trousers/skirt rather than beneath and not really noticable with most tops over the top.

Since having my lower back realigned i have been able to continue practicing yoga. I am hyper mobile in the sacroilliac region and this belt has helped me stay aligned whilst teaching and practicing yoga. I haven't been to the chiropractor for over a month now which is a miracle for me. It was my chiropractor that recommended this belt to me. It has saved me money. Meanwhile i am building up my core and abdominal muscles before i stop using my belt.
