I have closely followed the work of Nancy A. Messieh for over a year. In that time I have never witnessed anything other than sheer quality. The stringing together of words in to pieces as beautiful and as melancholy as, 'We pretended to be wind chimes' and 'Stopping clocks' proves without a doubt that Nancy A. Messieh is indeed a name to look out for. I was instantly drawn in to every page of this book. Lines run seamlessly in to pages and the 'Photographs never taken' soon become as vivid as any picture could hope to be. This is a book I shall treasure for years to come. It demands to be read again and again. I myself have already given in to that demand with obliging surrender.
