This was bought for a student friend studying ecology in New Zealand. He rated it most highly and saifd that he found it a useful addition to his study books on field trips. He also recommended it as an addition to any holiday where the identification of flowers in New Zealand was important.

Very disappointed to find that the book is mostly about garden flowers which have escaped into the wild and naturalised. Many of them would now be regarded as weeds and they are certainly not native wildflowers.I think the title is most misleading.
