This is my first Julian Lennon cd and I absolutely love love love it! It brings out so many real, human emotions, it just makes me do nothing but recall happy and some sad moments In My Life. <---I'm also a Beatles fan. I have listened to this back to back with John and yes, there are some similarities, but I truly Believe that Julian is his own man. His own artist. John would be proud! I love it all. I can also highly reccommend it as a Wedding Gift especially for the first and 13th songs. My favs would also include "Believe" and "Good to Be Lonely." "Day After Day" is such a groovy song, it inspired me to write a short story set in WWI trenches. What can I say? I LOVE IT!

This is Julian Lennon's best album - it's cracking value with 14 cracks with highlights being "Crucified", "Walls", "Believe" and "Faithful". I also advise you to follow Julian on Facebook and Twitter - he just seems to be a real human-being.

An absolutely dreamy romantic & beautiful CD.. written with Loving devotion & gives the listener a transportation to a dream state of ecstasy & delight.. A sheer pleasure to listen to..

'Photograph smile' is, by Julian Lennon's own admission, his best album. And it starts off with the best track, 'Day After Day', which is scarily like a John Lennon song, with a guitar solo that sounds like it's being played by George Harrison. The album continues in the same vein, with the Beatles' influence apparant in most songs, but in a few it is almost overwhelmingly similar to Beatles' songs; 'I don't wanna know' along with 'And she cries' could have been plucked from 'Revolver'. Some of the tracks are below average, particularly around the middle section of the album, but it finishes on a high with the penultimate track, 'Faithful' being a wonderful ballad.
