Product Description
The PhotoSEL BK13CW is a 100% cotton seamless muslin background. The background is 3m wide and 6m long. It is large enough to shoot full portrait shots of a small group of people and can provide a full background for a variety of poses of a model in a sitting, standing or even lying position.
As the highest quality 100% 140g/m² cotton is used in the manufacture of this background it is extremely durable. All edges are carefully finished to prevent tears in the material, and should it become stained, it can be dry cleaned or even machine washed. A 8cm rod pocket along the top edge allows the background to be draped or hung, for example using the PhotoSEL BS103 Background Support.

This backdrop was an excellent purchase. It has saved me vast amounts of time post shoot as I no longer have to cut people out in photoshop and create a background for them artificially. The backdrop is made of cloth so it is very difficult to eradicate all creases. However, the value for money is very good, especially if you plan on having a studio for a budget. And it is very light and therefore very portable.

This is a good quality item of the size mentioned - which is BIG. However, I do have a issue with it though.
The product came folded down to a reasonable size and fits snuggly into the carry bag...but this leaves a LOT a creases. I spent no small amount of time ironing the sheet as best I could by hanging on the backdrop frame and ironing in chunks.
My understanding is that if left on the stand the creases naturally fall out but I dont have the room or inclination to leave this on a stand 24/7. I do however need to transport it which means folding many times to put in the bag. Instant creases.
Im not sure what this product would have over any clean white cloth but I assume it is reflectivity, but I found the weight, ability to get dirty, and creases a problem. Unless you have a great deal of space and good strong lights you will also have a problem.
The carry bag is of good quality and matches the style of the other PhotoSel products. I would suggest that a strong cardboard or plastic roll for the backdrop to go around would be better. Something of 1m or 1.5m in length would be no longer than some of the other stand bags I have.
I am therefore giving only 3 stars. Loses 1 for the major creasing issues. Loses another because I think this was/is a solvable issue if given a bit more thought.

Great for people building their first studio like I am or want to add a new colour to their backdrops. Good quality sheet. Came folded up but creases will fall over use and is also machine washable if needed. Comes with handy branded drawstring bag to keep clean and safe when storing or travelling. For the price it is a great product.

quality product
its huge, good quality but needs to be ironed well before use and we put a wooden dowel in the bottom so we can roll it up for storage. i would recommend this
