Product Description

The PhotoSEL BK13CA is a 100% cotton seamless muslin background. The background is 3m wide and 6m long. It is large enough to shoot full portrait shots of a small group of people and can provide a full background for a variety of poses of a model in a sitting, standing or even lying position.

The background colour has been scientifically colour matched to the mid grey (18% reflection) as commonly used in digital still photography and video industry. This greatly simplifies the addition of special effects and backgrounds in the digital post-processing of your shoots.

As the highest quality 100% 140g/m² cotton is used in the manufacture of this background it is extremely durable. All edges are carefully finished to prevent tears in the material, and should it become stained, it can be dry cleaned or even machine washed. A 8cm rod pocket along the top edge allows the background to be draped or hung, for example using the PhotoSEL BS103 Background Support.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Just wanted a backdrop for shooting the odd bit of portrait work against as well as providing a suitable background colour for ID shots. Also like the fact that PhotoSEL provide a bag for protecting and storing the cloth. At 3m wide x 6m in length it's just the ticket. Only wish PhotoSEL had a larger range of backdrops to choose from as I'd certainly consider them.

We bought 2 of these to use in our studio as one wasn't big enough. They were pinned lengthways along a wall extremely tight so it was seamless.
We had a group of 35 people later that week and the results were perfect! The mid grey works perfectly keeping white balance at its optimum while still looking so elegant as a background! I plan on buying another set of these in a chroma key green if it's available.
