Converts your MicroSD or MicroSDHC Card into a MS Pro Duo Card for use with Pro Duo enabled devices, including PSP. Contains two MicroSDHC memory slots each with a capacity of up to 8GB for a total capacity of 16GB. *IMPORTANT* NOTE: 1. Please FORMAT MicroSD cards with CR-5400 adapter by SONY product or PSP before using the card.(DO NOT FORMAT by PC) 2. Keep Micro SD cards in CR-5400 adapter all time for data transfer. DO NOT transfer data from Micro SD cards without CR-5400 adapter to any other device(PC) . It will cause data corrupt. 3. Most of card readers DO NOT support high capacity Memory Stick (Duo) memory cards. Please use USB cable to transfer from PSP or SONY products to PC or other device. 4. For customers using PSP system software version 2.80 or earlier: PSP systems with system software version 2.80 or earlier do not correctly recognize high-capacity Memory Stick PRO DuoTM with more than 4 GB of free (recordable) memory space. Please update.

I have had to return one of these product but after having a real product sent out to me this works fine in my PSP-3000. It has allowed me to get Music and apps on to my PSP. It also works in my camera which is a Olympus TG-810. I have used lots of MicroSDHC card which have worked and some which have not.
I have found with Sandisk version 2, 4, 6 all work.

I was skeptical when I ordered this about whether it would actually work in my PSP, especially with it having two memory card slots, that seemed a bit too good to be true, but luckily I was proved wrong.
I put an 8GB microSD card and a 2GB microSD card in the adapter, put the adapter in the PSP and formatted it through the menu on there, it took a while to do it at first, but ever since it has worked amazingly.
Every now and then it doesn't work, but that is easily solved by just taking it out and putting it back in again, and this has never happened in game.
Transferring files has to be done through the PSP if you use two microSD cards in the adapter, if you only use one then you can plug it into your computer via any other method you have at your disposal for reading microSD cards, such as a USB reader
If you have a PSP and need a high capacity memory card, this is the thing for you

I bought this so that I could easily increase the size of memory in my PSP so that I could start to use downloadable games from the Sony site.
Works perfectly in my 3000 series PSP, with one 8Gb Micro SD card.
Haven't tried it with two cards yet...
Would have deserved five stars, but I had to knock one star off as I have discovered that this adapter is fractionally longer than a true Pro Duo card, which means that it can easily be accidentally ejected from the PSP if only a small amount of pressure is applied to the memory slot cover. Can be annoying, but the advantage of having the extra memory capacity makes up for this slight inconvenience.

Psp magic adapter
this works great only accepts 8gb per slot and once formatted in PSP the micro sd card can be detached and used to transfer in/upload your files..

Superb. A real money-saver
Bought for the original PSP 1000 with 2x8GB class 4 microSD cards and so far (about 2 weeks) it has continued to work fine. The PSP formats it with 14GB of usuable space. Read more
