The budget price of this item meant I didn't expect too much of this release-however the item which arrived on time and it of excellent . The "bulb" lock is very positive with a non-sticky action

The first one had a problem with the thread and wouldn't fit. I contacted the supplier who replied immediately, and rushed me a replacement, which works well. Great service!

Did not have too many expectations considering the price, but unhappy with this product. The screw thread does not fit correctly and the cable is very soft and flexible. As a result, when fitted it has an acute bend at the camera when fitted. This twists the wire in the camera locking my camera on permanent on. So when winding on the camera activates. Trying to do slow time lapse photos, wasted a large proportion of the film. In the end had to unscrew and refit every shot. I have sleeved the screw end with stiff pvc tube. This prevents the locking up, so now works in a fashion.

A metal release is better but for occasional use this cheapy will do fine.
As I don't expect to be dictated to as to how many bloody words I use to describe something as mundane as flaming cable release or step-up ring, memory card or ND filter, this will be the last review I ever write for Amazon!

Very cheaply made. The nut comes loos so often and the cable get stuck. I bought for my fuji x pro as fuji do not make their own shutter release cable. I do not recommend this product.

Didn't work. Not functioning on delivery. Pressing the button didn't activate the other end. Looks very cheaply made. Not worth sending back. I wonder where I could get a proper one

I boiught this after my old cable broke. Its a reasonable quality product but would be better if it could be lokked off in the applied position for longer exposures
