I first learned of Ben Kweller through a Dashboard Confessional show, and since then, I've fallen in love with him. His combination of folk with pop-punk and piano ballads has made him one of my favorite new artists to date.
As the lead singer of the band Radish at just 16, Ben Kweller's musical roots go back farther than his solo career. His first full length LP, Sha Sha, is perhaps one of the most refreshing albums of 2002.
I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Ben Kweller truly is, though. I met him at his concert recently and not only does his talent become extremely obvious when he's on stage, but you see what a truly wonderful guy he is.
While "EP Phone Home" isn't composed entirely of new material, there are 2 different songs on here. If you're at all familiar with Ben Kweller, you'll know how wonderful all of his material is, so I need not go into detail on how great it is.
So, support BK, and buy this EP.
