Product Description

Review

The book is touching and recounts some hilarious anecdotes ... The story is told by Justin in an incredibly honest and modest way, and their lives are a great example of what can be achieved with a little ambition and a lot of hard work. --Telegraph

Every now and again you come across a book the world needs to read, and this is one of them.
--Jenni Davis

Review

I have been in tears several times - mostly of laughter, and once out of sympathy... Every now and again you come across a book the world needs to read, and this is one of them. -- Jenni Davis

This book is so incredible! It is beautifully written, taking you along the amazing journey of Justin and Linda with their gracious humour and humility. Their courage and strength is palpable. Following a tragic event you travel, in the most beautiful yacht built by them and experience such passion for life. This passion attracts some amazing characters that mostly show kindness. It also allows you to savour the amazing flavours that leap from the pages of the fine local foods sourced and served with care and dedication. The illustrations also by Justin are enchanting.

If you feel you could do with a change this book will inspire you to make a change.

excellent book 15 Mar 2012
Format:Paperback
Brilliant descriptions of the motley crew of characters, and interesting spots they sail to, in their self built boat. And what a journey too, from house fire to liveaboards. There are many sailing books, but this is definitely one of the top 5 I've read. Enjoy... And Caol Ila is a great dram too :-)

This book recalls what we all should do but how many of us do it? If you have followed your dream, this story will accompany your memories. If you haven't got there yet this will entertain and inspire you to go! Justin and linda's story is beautifully writtain with a wry wit and story telling at it's best. Whether or not you've ever sailed there's plenty of nautical madness to make roll about with laughter....the many characters are almost too crazy to be true until Justins' reasuring log makes you realise this was a journey into themselves as well as many a good bottle of whiskey!
