As a year 13 student approaching my A Level examinations I have found this text extremely useful in preparation for both by AS and A2 exams. As the previous reviewer quite rightly argues, this book is not enough alone to enable you to pass the exam at the higher grades, but combined with your own revision programme this book provides concise notes and plenty of detail which is very useful. It is written in a way which is easy to understand and contains practice exam questions and tips on exam technique. I would reccommend this to any student of Philosophy and Ethics from the beginning of the course in Year 12, combined with personal study it has been invaluable to me.

the orange bible! 1 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
this book is really great for revision purposes, i wouldn't recommend just using this to learn the course though. if you're looking to get higher grades you will still need to do a bit of further reading (although that said the book does provide limited additional material)
other than that this little orange book does exactly what it's supposed to and is a brilliant thing to base your revision round. by the end of my course i think about 85-90% of my class had this book and i know that they would all thoroughly advise getting it.

Revision help 18 Nov 2010

My son has just started his OCR Philosophy and Ethics A Level. He found this book very useful for a recent test. Hopefully, he will find this helpful over the next two years of his course. One of his friends saw him with it in class and wanted to get one too!
