It’s like The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, but more innocent;
similar to Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, but way more Catholic;
almost a Pirates of the Caribbean in book-form, but more hopeful and less wet!"

The shipmasters of Cor Nova rule the sky. With only the wind, gravity, and the white vapor that lifts their wooden ships sunward, they soar through the skies in search of fortune and adventure. But, a storm is gathering on the horizon, one that threatens to bring the freedom of all the people of the beautiful nation under attack.
For hundreds of years, the Sovereigns have ruled Cor Nova with justice, but a strange madness has invaded the mind of the Sovereign Philocrates, turning the once-peaceful nation into an oppressive dictatorship. Masked soldiers stalk the streets of her cities, undesirables disappear without a trace, and the nights are lit with towering piles of burning books.
Through a mysterious rebel organization known only as the Bookkeepers, Basil, a youth with a gift for medicine, learns that he alone can save Cor Nova from Philocrates.
With the help of young merchant shipmaster Cyprian Fields, his trustworthy (and decidedly colorful) crew, and a battered merchant freighter named Philomena, Basil sets out on an adventure that will change his world forever. As the people of Cor Nova turn to him as the last hope in a dark night, Basil discovers that the only way to overcome great evil is to tap into the power that lies within.
