Product Description

Simply stay in touch. Big screen, big buttons, loud sound.

The Philips digital cordless phone XL series is a simple handset that provides you with extra clarity and ease of use with its big screen, large keypad and extra loud sound. This phone is intended to make calling easy for any member of the family.

Hands-free mode uses a built-in loudspeaker to amplify the voice of the caller, allowing you to speak and listen during a call without holding the phone to your ear. This is especially useful if you want to share the call with others or take notes during a call.

A well designed phone 17 Jan 2011
I have now had the Philip's twin handsets for a few weeks. They are well designed phones with good sized buttons, easy to set up and use and with good clarity of speech. The ansaphone works well and the phone number memory is simple to use when adding new numbers or for searching for people who have been added previously.

When the phone is placed in the cradle, a two tone note sounds to let you know that the phone is properly placed. You can also listen to recorded messages on either phone. Well done Philips.

Excellent phone 20 Feb 2011
I have always liked Philips phone and this is the best one I have had. My wife needs hearing aid compatibly and this one works fine. I would recommend it to anybody. The large buttons are a boon.

a good handset
Nicely styled and comfortable to handle. They have lots of useful features such as a tinkle tone when I have a text message. I sometimes wonder if they are too 'intelligent'! Read more

Why do you have to actually TRY a phone to find out what it's features...
What is the point in having caller display and multiple ringtones if you can't assign ringtones to individual numbers.
