Does this product make a noise when plugged in? I have very good ears and would be bothered if it has a "hum" like some other electric alarm clocks 14 days ago
The alarm clock is very quiet when plugged in. I sleep extremely close to it and I am very sensitive to noise when falling asleep. I would recommend this product.
Does the time light up on the display (so you can see it in the dark)? If yes, can you turn if off? Because I'm planning to use it next to my head! 14 days ago
Yes it gradually gets brighter but you can set how bright you want it ,mine is beside my head and there is a button to turn it off
Can you disable to beeping sound at the end of illumination and does the light stay on once fully illuminated or does it turn off after a while? 7 Apr 2014
You can stop the beeping sound with the press of the alarm button or by tapping the clock face. The light can stay illuminated or can turn off- there is also a button to use the light at another time as a lamp.
Lost my instructions and need to reset the clock time after unplugging it!? Can't remember how! Can anyone help please? 6 Mar 2014
There's a little clock button at the back on the right hand side of the stand. Press that once and the front light will flash. Use the plus and minus buttons on the front to change the time, and hit the clock button again to finish. Hold down the clock button for a few seconds to switch between AMPM and 24hr modes. And leave a bad review on the device because for the price it really should remember the time when you plug it out!
it says "2 x AC/DC adaptors" - what plugs are they? I ask since I am on mainland Europe and we use European 2-pin plugs, not UK 3 pin 1 Dec 2013
Mine came with a UK 3 pin plug but I would suggest you contact Philips direct to see if it is compatible or European use.
What's the guarantee period for this product? I've seen a few reviews on the Philips website that said the light has broken after a year or so. 10 days ago
