Have had a couple of pairs of these and the sound quality is surprisingly not bad for the price, but you may have to be a bit careful with them as the area where the wire meets the actual earpiece is a little fragile. With a few months of pulling them out of your ears you may find one ear goes dead as the connection becomes damaged...not bad at all though for a value option, even if they'll struggle to last much more than 6 months.

This is the second pair of headphones made my Philips that have quite literally fallen apart. The previous ones were of a different type. These headphones have great sound quality and fit comfortably. They also tend to actually stay in your ear thanks to the loop unlike regular in-ear headphones that regularly fall out. However, the rubber loops on the edges of the speakers frequently came off and eventually one was lost. This meant that the sharp plastic underneath was exposed, and the headphones were thus unwearable.

I've had two pairs of these before; not because of shoddy build quality but because of simply losing them and breaking them. The reason I keep getting these is because the quality is far better than any of those in a similar price range, and even better than some that are more expensive. The clip is great, as I find most in-ear headphones are a pain to get to stay in for more than 5 minutes, and they also provide good sound isolation. The sound quality as well is brilliant; not tinny at all, and these save battery life on my iPod. Before you look at more expensive brands, check these out - they're definitely worth a go.

Value for money

Ouch

Great headphones at reasonable price
