If your buying this to control media centre, don't bother. Looses connection ecery few days, this can sometimes be restored by reconnecting from the controller, sometimes by rebooting the pc, but quite often needs to be reinstalled.

Tried it on Vista and Windows 7 rc1, same on both.

Brilliant gadget. Unlike other reviewers I have not had any major problems. Have they got the latest software, and are the PC's realtively fast? Works well with Vista in my Dual Core PC. I use it to listen to music from my itunes library. Also works well with windows media centre. Not to mention a great universal remote for all my other components.

What a great idea. A sideshow bar on your remote. Fantastic! At least, it would be if it worked for more than 10 minutes. After trying to get it working for 3 months I gave up. the first installation was a success. But then it just stopped working. A complete uninstall with reinstall was required. This happened every week! In the end I went back to my stock infrared remote. I shall attempt to get it working again but unless Philips improves the software, I say stay clear!
