Until I came across these I was seriously considering the Bose companion 5 setup,
am I glad I came across these - you bet.
I am no audio expert but have been a serious music listener for the best part of fifty years and I think the quality of the output for the price here is truly brilliant. While I'm not one for pounding bass lines -you got it if you want it- and the separation & clarity are more than adequate through the volume range which itself is capable of filling the house, much less a room.
I don't suppose for one minute the Bose setup is not"better", I have sampled the quality of the output of it and they are digital as opposed to these being analogue. But it was the price that did it for me, in these hard pressed times,£70 as opposed to £300+.
Take it from me there's not £230 worth of difference here or else these are a steal.
And topped off with Superb service from AVIDES: BRILLIANT*****

Well after sifting over a few pages of PC speakers, these have to be the cleanest looking of all.. (Some others I'm afraid to say look like a GCSE Art Project gone wrong; surley they were never made to get to the production stage.!?)
You simply can't go wrong with a 100 watt output (and Philips do the bizz) they really punch out any youtube entry with balanced bright/deep life-like vigor. For domestic they're the ticket - Go for it :D)

the sound quality is excellent. If you like me have a good LCD/LED tv but you feel the sound is a bit flat, then you will love these. Super easy to install and as soon as you connect it the sound coming from your TV just gets to a whole new level!
