Best modem router I've had (I've had BT, Belkin, D-Link). Set up is easy with the settings for most ISP's (BT, TalkTalk, Tiscali, etc) pre-installed. Firewall is a bit complex (for me anyway) but can easily be switched off if you run another. Wireless range is better than previous routers and holds firm. Encryption is easy to set up. Unit doesn't very hot. Great value for money !!!

Works well - Good range 29 April 2012

Had one of these for years now. Like all routers, setup always proves more complicated than suggested, but this was okay. Having tried other, newer, routers I never find they have such a good range. I would recommend.

Crossed Wires 4 Mar 2010
When I decided to go wireless in my house I was looking for a reasonable Wireless Router that didn't look like a plastic brick. It turns out I compromised in both areas with this router.

First of all came the nightmarish installation process. When I eventually figured out what was going on and set up my security key it turned out I hadn't put the key phrase in quite right. Then I had to get the LAN cable out and try again. This happened 3 times and took over 2 hours. I realise this is partly my fault but I thought the idea was the programme remembered my Security Key?

Then recently I have found that the router turns it's self off every now and then due to some unknown reason. This is very annoying when you're browsing on the internet.

Overall, you get what you pay for. This is relatively cheap and not horrible to look at. But i'm sure that for £[] more your could get a really decent router.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for a straight forward easy installation.
