I got these headphones to use when cycling to work on a morning and they are superb.
The have all the following plus points:
-Comfortable
-Washable
-Excellent Sound
-Nice Pouch to keep them in
-Changeable ear inserts for confort and snug fit
-Long Lead (unlike iPod headphones for example!) and lead clip to hold them in position
-Robust
These headphones are ideal for anyone who is sporty and looking for a good sounding, practical set of headphones. They are super comfortable, and excellent sounding for the price.
And they wipe clean!

I have never been a big lover of Philips headphones the sound just isnt to my liking, I prefer the more mellow Sennheiser.
That having been said I purchased a pair of Sennheisers especially for the gym, I wasted a great deal of money on a pair of earphones which constantly annoyed me and to be frank I would have been better putting cash in the bin.
These came along and to say I expected nothing would be an understatement.
They are designed for comfort, big tick, they are washable, big big tick, they sound like all Philips more than acceptable but not my Sennheisers, smaller big tick. You can wash them, you can run in them, you can sweat in them, they are comfortable, they are well made, they have been well designed the list is endless.
I gave them four stars I could have so easily given them five to be honest its just that the sound wasnt quite there for me.
Whether for an ipod, for the gym for whatever you do in life these are really a reasonably priced well thought out pair of headphones so go on give them ago you wont be disappointed.

Having tried many headphones over the years, I'd never been satisfied with the performance while using them for anything other than very gentle exercise. My problem was sweat.....a common effect when exercising. Every headphone I've ever had has failed to remain in my ear once the sweat begins to flow......except the Phillips SHQ4000. I'd read other reviews that made up my mind to try them, and I'm so glad that I did. The comfort of these headphones while in use is so good I barely noticed they were there at all. They remained fixed in place for an hour long run, without having to be adjusted once, coping admirably with both motion and sweat. The cable clip minimises pull on the headphones, preventing them being tugged by the natural motion of running. The shape of the neckband applies a slight inwards pressure towards the ear which keeps them firmly, but gently, in place. The earplugs come in three interchangeable sizes and fit snugly, preventing sweat entering the ear, and are also washable. The only negative aspect of these headphones that I found is the sound quality. While by no means bad, it's not one for audio afficionados. All depends what your requirements are for a set of running headphones, but mine was comfort and fit, and I'd definitely recommend on that basis.

Excellent
I struggled for ages with headphones falling out whilst running. These are fab. Fit snugly in my ears and good sound, come with a bag and spare ear tips. Worth the money.

Only lasted 6 weeks
The earphones were great as long as they lasted. However, one of the earpieces stopped working after only 6 weeks, so back them went.
