Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
There can be no argument that these headphones deliver great noise reproduction - the range is fantastic - particuarly with the deeper bass notes. There is absolutely no tinnyness, even at higher volumes. This is all thanks to Philips cutting edge dynamic 9-millimeter drivers. There is also no external noise leakage thanks to the nicely fitted ear buds - which come in three sizes - ideal for all but Prince Charles' ears.

However, the single greatest drawback to these headphones is the canvas cord, which is designed so as not to tangle. While it undeniably achieves this purpose - the cord unfortunately picks up every little noise - whether that be the rustle of coat or brrruuupp of your jacket zip. Suitable for lying on the beach maybe but not for running or listening to music on the move. If you are singing along to Girls Aloud at maximum volume you may block out the distortion, but for quieter or more mellow tracks these headphones take away some of that listening pleasure. A real disappointment from a pair of headphones that promised so much.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
If it were down to sound quality alone, these headphone would rate very highly, they certainly compare very favourably with my considerably more expensive and much larger Sennheiser headphones. However there are a few less positive aspects to consider.

A relatively minor quibble but extricating the headphones from packaging is very fiddly. Then I had to use a magnifying glass to work out the left channel from the right, it was only under a glass that it became apparent that it is an Old English typeface that us used to identify the channels, I'm sure there could be a clearer means of marking them. The information printed on the packaging is very small, and again a magnifying glass was required in order to read it.

But the biggest problem, which as far as I am concerned makes them less than satisfactory, is that the slightest movement against the headphone cable transmits as a very audible rumble. I compared these headphones with other similar sets, and they did not produce this noise. My conclusion is that it is the nature of the cable casing, which is textured and so creates feedback when it rubs against anything, all my other headphones have smooth cable. As long as I keep perfectly still they are fine, but the slightest movement produces very noticeable rumble. I asked my wife to try them and she found the same problem. It may be "tangle free" cable, but that seems to come at a cost. If you listen to music that is constantly loud you might not notice this problem so much, but I listen to primarily classical music, and in quiet passages this rumble is enough to drown out the music. This is a great pity for otherwise this is a good headset.

Absolutely brilliant! Have experienced numerous problems with apple head phones breaking, and the cables snapping, These however, are rope cable and last forever. Have been very pleased with the headphones, they arrives within 2-3 days, and They are excellent for commuters as they drown out background noise, for a greater listening experience.
Would strongly recommend!

Best in ear headphones I have owned. Yes, there is a little noise if you spend most of the time rubbing the cable against things, but that doesnt bother me as it is slight. The main reason I like these...longevity. These headphones are very robust, the bit you plug into your device is slightly extended offering protection to the weakest part of any headphone. The cord cable adds more strenght still, its very easy to untangle. Basically, headphones I have previously owned last around 3-4 months, these well they have lasted about 2 years. Sound quality isn't too bad either. I think if you hate tangles, and you go through headphones like food, then these are for you. I'm highly recommending them

I bought these because they promised rugged wear but I've had nothing but headaches with this product.
I've no problem with the tangle-free cable or the quality of sound, mine just have a life of their own.
The play button jumps into life without being touched, triggering iTunes on the mac or the iPod on the iPhone.
It's particularly annoying when I leave the headphones plugged in then automagically jumping into life and wearing the battery down.
If it's not doing that it's auto-skipping through tracks, not to mention the iffy connector.
All this while sitting still, I can't imagine how nuts this would drive me if I was on the move.
I figure I bought a faulty pair but I can't wait to change them.

The product looks good and the earplugs fit OK but the sound transference from the thick, rough-surfaced cord, rubbing against my clothing cause a noise in my ear which overpowers the music and is totally unacceptable. They're going back.
