I bought this to take in my handbag when I went out in the evening and actually find it more comfortable and easier to use than my electric tommee tippee which always gives me blisters on my nipple whenever I use it. I can get more milk in a shorter period of time than my tommee tippee.
I've rated it 4 stars as it has now developed a squeak every time you pump - can't do it discreetly anymore!

This little manual pump is brilliant! It is easy to assemble, easy to use & very comfortable. I find I can express a fair bit in a short time by mimicking my Son's feeding pattern. As well as being great for expressing & storing milk regularly, it is also great for relieving engorgement gently and releasing pressure if your baby cannot latch on because of it or struggles with a fast flow. It is so compact, I feel I could take it anywhere with me. I would recommend this to any new Mum wishing to express & store milk.

I received this free when I ordered a steriliser and therefore didn't think it would be much good. After struggling with a medela pump, I got a tommy tipped one, which was no better in terms of milk extraction but was more comfortable and not as noisy but I was so frustrated at the time it took. As a last resort I tried this and was very pleasantly surprised. I can get more out in a much shorter time. It can pinch a little if not in correct position and handle does squeak but it you apply some lansinoh nipple cream to the tiny part that attachs to the rubber it stops it happening. This doesn't come into contact with the milk.

Absolutely useless, piece of....
This product is not effective at all in extracting milk from mother. Its suction system is horrible, you can get more milk out for later storage by squeezing your breasts rather... Read more
