Headphone sponges 14 Sep 2010
By Bill
I much prefer this type of headphone speaker. They are so much more comfortable than the ones that fit in the ear being very light. Great quality sound from these speakers however the only problem I have with them is that the sponge covers deteriorate fairly quickly and it's just impossible to get replacements. I've had to make some home repairs.

philips headphones 29 Jan 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
My wife wears headphones throughout the night.
Originally we were buying them from various "pound shops" but found that they were only lasting a few weeks - some, the sound deteriorated, others the leads packed in.
Eventually I decided to try more expensive ones and, luckily, chose the Philips.
The quality of the sound and construction is excellent and, after well over a year, we are now on a second pair

What more could you ask?

I find these much more comfortable than in-the-ear headphones.

Unbelievably good quality for the money.

My second pair (the only disadvantage to these is that because they're so cheap they get treated a little too roughly). The first pair took a lot of punishment before they died.

Now, if only I can find a similarly good value wireless pair...

Headphones
They arrived on time and they are good for what they are. Cheap and cheerful but completely functional and are easy to use.

For less than eight quid you can't go wrong. The 1.2m length cord is just about right to reach from the headphone socket of my PC speakers. Read more

Good Headphones

Great little set of headphones!
I must say, not the most stylish headphones ever, but they work a treat! I have an ipod nano and they work perfectly with it, better than the headphones that come with the nano! Read more

Philips SBCHL/10 Lightweight headphones
The sound from these headphones is truly awful, both from my MP3 player and from a good quality HiFi ststem. Don't waste your money on them.
