I have a Philips Arcitec shaver which I use on a daily basis and it does a good job. But it was time to change the heads and I saw that I could use these newer RQ10/50 heads on my original body. This was a definite benefit as these new style heads give a very good close cut. The head unit itself is bigger than my old unit, by just a few mm in width and taller. This makes the shaving a bit more comfy as the surface area of the head is overall a bit bigger. However there is a downside, it now doesn't fit in the automated cleaning/charging unit and is a very snug fit in the travel case. So I now no longer use the cleaning unit, which to be honest I didn't use all the time so for me it was not a big deal. I now use the spray cleaner once a week and just rinse the head under the tap. So besides the size thing the heads definitely give a better cut and I am very pleased I replaced them with these new RQ10/50s

Bought this as my old shaver head needed replacing. My old shaver head was RQ10/40 so I thought the new version may have been improved. It turned out to be worse than the old one. As I started using it, it kept popping off. I thought maybe I was not holding the shaver correctly, but it turned out to be the new head. I contacted Amazon, who promptly gave me a refund, without any hesitation. I don't know if the head I received was faulty or these new heads are not suitable for the shavers. I will have to think again seriously whether to try another one or get the original version of the head.

I bought these as a replacement for my old blades which I had been using for about three years, when I came to use the there seemed to be a "dragging" sensation while I was shaving, I put it down to being new and needed bedding in. After about three weeks of use they were no better, I went back to my old blades and i am getting a better shave from them. I have decided that when I eventually replace them I will buy them from a shop, it's easier to return them as possibly faulty.

Very good replacement head
I can see and feel the difference (in a good way) with my old shaving head. It is smoother and it shaves very close to the skin.
