The secret is its swivel head. I may not have a great head of hair but I can't see me needing the barber again.
Convenient hand design. Adjustable cutting length so you don't need to change combs or worry about loosing combs in hotels.
Excellent for the back of neck and shoulder hairs, and keeping down the ever growing chest and never regions.
Best gadget I've bought in years, well worth extra. Comparing this hair clipper to the old design is like comparing vinyl to CD.

It used to make me feel like crying, sitting in the barbers for about 5 minutes when the guy before me had been there at least twenty, and we were both charged the same. Then the Philips hairclippers appeared in my life, I could 'do' my disappearing hair and my short beard all by myself in 7 - 8 minutes. It fits comfortably in my hand, swivels to all angles and is so easy to use. Two uses later and it had paid for itself in barbers fees. Super product and very reasonably priced now.
